My tips for the long-torso-shorter-legs figure:

- embrace your natural waist! Go for things that are higher-waisted to give the illusion of your legs starting farther away from the floor than you ever thought. Belts are your best friend! They start your legs where YOU say.

- FIT! don’t buy anything unless you know it fits you like a glove, or you are willing to take it to a tailor to make sure it fits you that way. Fit is the most important thing in personal style, make sure the pieces in your closet fit you and you’ll rarely suffer from “what to wear” syndrome wih your basics again!

-heels. wedges. give yourself a little lift and height from the ground up as well.

-avoid cropped pants and skirts that hit below the knee.
