A little backstory on my jewelry:

I don’t actually change out my rings often. Never have. I’ve always worn rings, since at least middle school, but they usually have significance and so I don’t change them out. I will add on top of the ones I usually wear, since I have some pretty kickass statement rings, but these are my everyday.
I believe in jewelry with a story. Most of my jewelry has that, though of course, sometimes we can’t be deterred from the impulse of the pretty. I also believe in marking significant life moments, and jewelry is a pretty great way to do that. I’m not saying expensive stuff, I’m saying meaningful stuff.

On my right hand, I wear anywhere from 4-9 of these little bands. They came from the etsy shop Meetalls. I bought them about a year ago, right after I booked “Women on the Verge.” They have started to tarnish and bend a bit, but parts of them are still shiny. I like that the wear can be seen as well as the shine.
They are my literal reminder of grabbing the brass ring. Yep, it’s pretty cheesy, but it’s true.

On my left hand, I wear the Slender Bar Ring from etsy shop metalsugar. I customized it so it would cover all the fingers on my hand. I like multi-finger rings, but I like having the mobility of my entire hand during the day, so this ring is only worn on my middle finger. I call it my “lady brass knuckles.” I bought this ring almost two years ago, after I came home from my stint in Vegas. It was the perfect welcome-home gift to myself, and I’ve worn this it almost every day since then.

Sorry I’ve been lax on the outfit posts recently- I will try to get back on that shortly.
